Thank you to our #inov8worldrun team of almost 1,000 runners, hikers & walkers globally who between them logged 25,000 virtual miles on our website to get us round Earth’s equator in the space of 7 days. What a fantastic achievement amid these challenging times.
The challenge, which started on Global Running Day, has been integral in our Play Your Part campaign, set-up at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic to support, motivate and inspire.
On Day 1 our fledgling team logged 2,135 miles. As the team grew day by day, so did the miles logged. By day 4 we’d reached 8,346 miles, before a big Sunday push saw that accelerate to 14,634 miles. Over the final two days the team grew again and everyone pulled together to log the remaining 10,366 miles and cross the virtual finish. 25,000 miles in 7 days – thank you all.
We hope everybody had fun taking part and well done to those who won daily prizes.
