INOV8 partners with Thru-Dark

Passion. Purpose. Progress. Three words at the core of partner brand Thru-Dark.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Thru-Dark, a British brand founded 2 years ago by former UK Special Forces operators Louis and Staz.

Both men spent the majority of their military careers enduring some of the world’s harshest environments, and Thru-Dark was born out of their constant requirement for the best technical expedition clothing and equipment to assist them in their mission to ‘Endeavour Through Adversity’. The name ‘Thru-Dark’ represents endurance through the toughest of situations.

At INOV8 we share those core beliefs – making products that push the boundaries of what is possible. We became the first brand in the world to utilize graphene, the world’s strongest material, in in our trail running shoes, hiking boots and training shoes. Our graphene-enhanced rubber outsoles are scientifically proven to be 50% stronger, 50% more elastic and 50% harder wearing.

Joining forces, Thru-Dark will take INOV8 footwear on regular expedition trips, trusting them to deliver the world’s toughest grip in the most challenging conditions. They will push our technology to the limit and discover what is possible.

In July 2020, the Thru-Dark expedition team took our graphene-enhanced ROCLITE G 345 GTX hiking boots to Chamonix to tackle the high-altitude ridge lines of the Mont Blanc region.

They are now wearing our new ROCLITE PRO G 400 GORE-TEX hiking boots, with graphene-enhanced outsoles and Schoeller® ceramic-coated uppers, while they put their latest Thru-Dark innovation, the SF Echelon Jacket, through its paces.
