Sales Agent – Northern Germany

 

Background:

Working as part of a small team to achieve ambitious targets through a ‘can do approach’; in a modern, innovative and successes orientated culture. Overview of Role

We have the opportunity for you to join our team as self-employed Sales Agent for the northern German market. After an extensive training period, you will be responsible for driving sales in northern Germany.

Reporting Structure

This role reports directly to the Sales Manager Central/Southern Europe.

Location

Based from home within northern Germany

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Managing the database of customers for your territory and identifying new opportunities

• Presenting new collections and getting orders from the territory

• Hitting seasonal and yearly sales targets

• Developing sell-in plans for your retailers and create seasonal forecasts

• Promotions and sales demonstrations in stores

• Reporting of field activities including competitor activities

• Delivering in-store training – to be the best trainer in the industry on your territory

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Must have

• Experience in sales (retail and/or wholesale)

• Passion for trail running and the outdoors

• Ability to travel on a frequent basis

• Fluency in German and English

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Microsoft proficiency – Word, PowerPoint, Excel

• Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Should have

• A clear understanding of the trail running scene in your territory (brands, events and athletes)

• The ability to work independently, as part of a team

Like to have

• Experience in delivering staff training to retailers

• Personal interest in product and trends within the market
