Launched in 2013, our running apparel range has grown from strength to strength over the past four years. Designed for committed runners who want to push boundaries, the range now features more than 50 garments, from waterproof jackets to base layers, tights and shorts.
Heavily tested and continually scrutinised by inov-8 athletes, ambassadors and team members across the world, the range is packed with lightweight, super-comfortable, protective options that are designed to work with the body, not against it. But don’t just take our word for it, check out some of the recent awards and reviews.

Heading up our apparel team is Helen Stuart, a vastly-experienced trail runner who lives and breathes the sport within which she works. Hailing from rural Scotland where she grew up exploring and getting to grips with the country’s rugged mountains and trails, Helen is driven by a desire to innovate within the running apparel industry.
In a recent interview with the American Trail Running Association, our Apparel Product & Design Manager was interviewed on topics relating to female-specific running apparel. Read the full interview here.
Within the article, Helen says: “Fit and understanding of the human anatomy is essential to the athletic garments we design. Being a female technical outdoor apparel designer obsessed with running has its advantages. I have a natural insight and determination to drive home the importance of technical women-specific apparel in a heavily male dominated industry. Pinking and shrinking a male style to make it into a women’s garment is not a policy here at inov-8. In fact, the women’s style comes to life before the men’s equivalent.”
