Our Roadclaw 275 road running shoe has been awarded the prestigious Editor’s Choice award by leading UK sports magazine 220 Triathlon.
The magazine put a total of 10 road running shoes to the test in its ‘Training Run Shoes Big Group Test.’ The results were featured in the October 2016 issue. The Roadclaw 275 came out on top, scoring 83% in the test, and was named Editor’s Choice.

“This is an impressive shoe that’ll delight not only inov-8 off-road fans but those of a pavement persuasion. Yes, there’s still a slightly flatter ride but, for most, it’s enough and that’s down to the brand’s Powerflow midsole technology that offers up 10% better shock absorption and 15% better energy return than standard midsoles…

Roadclaw 275: More than just a road running shoe
The Roadclaw 275 was new to the inov-8 range in Spring/Summer this year. It was our first road running shoe with increased underfoot cushioning and comfort. As well as feeling fast and smooth on the roads, it has also proven popular with those running from roads to trails. This is because of the shoe’s superb outsole grip.
The shoe also gained rave reviews following a test conducted by My Outdoors and was used by internationally-renowned comedian, writer and actor Eddie Izzard when he rans 27 marathons in 27 days across South Africa. And is if to prove its versatility to the extreme, ultra running legend Nicky Spinks used the Roadclaw 275 to run approximately half of her record-breaking Double Bob Graham Round in the Lake District, UK.
