Last weekend, Alex Jospe headed down to the last national-level orienteering race of the season – the Delaware Valley fall orienteering festival.
It was a two-day race, where the combined time takes the win, on hills in French Creek State Park. Alex navigated cleanly through day 1, taking the lead by 3 minutes.
Feeling better and faster on Day 2, she ran a good race but was denied the lead by a Czech Republic team runner, coming in second by nearly a minute. Luckily, she was speedy enough to take the overall win!
