You've probably heard the terms "minimalism" and "barefoot running," being used a lot lately. We call it natural running, and we've been doing it since 2003, longer than any other brand. It's also the only thing we do. Whether for trail, road, or fitness, every inov-8 shoe is lightweight, flexible, and features little or no height difference between the heel and the forefoot.

So what is natural running? Natural running is a style that involves landing on your forefoot rather than your heel, while also shifting your center of gravity by leaning forward. The benefits of natural running include a reduction in the likelihood of injuries, as well as a more efficient (think FASTER) running style.
