| Welcome Team Inov-8 GORE-TEX |

Team Inov-8 GORE-TEX is a new team for 2007. It has a mix of talented and experienced members and new up and coming stars. We are expecting to excel at the World Adventure Racing Champs (WARC) with the team of Steve, Pete, Heather and Norman. After that we expect the Adventure Racing team to continue to excel for the rest of the year and in future years.
The Open5 event at Keswick proved to be very succesful for the team. The highest 3 scores at the event were all by Inov-8 teams. 1st was Tim and Chris (590 points) then Steve and Dave (575 points) and Pete and Norman (570 points). Meanwhile Anna broke the ladies record at the Moel Eilio fell race.
Chirs shows again that he is in great form this year by winning the GL3D mountain marathon.
At the first ACE race of the year at Drumlanrig castle the team (Steve, Chris, Anna and Gilbet) came a close second behind AAM. We had a slight lead after 4 stages, but punctures and slower cycling on the single track cost us time which we could not make up on the final run. See report for details. At the Full Monty the team (Heather, Norman and Steve) recorded the fastest times on the biking and running sections. Despite paddling Malibu SOT as opposed to K2 the team very nearly recorded the fastest overall time. On the same weekend Tim and Chris won the elite class of the Highlander MM. The new team got off to a great start at the Open5 event at Sutton Bank with victories in the male pair (Steve and Norman) and mixed pair (Pete and Heather) categories.
